Season Review

It is the end but... oh, wrong season! But many people do regard this as the beginning of the end for Doctor Who's original run. This is the season that led to the series going on hiatus.

There was good reasoning for this to happen too as the season is probably the most violent in Who history. Colin Baker's take on the Doctor has no nuance either, it's just an annoying one note performance throughout. Everything with this Doctor is just condescending and arrogant. This leaves poor Peri just whining all the time which is also not great to watch and a waste of Nicola Bryant's talent!

The stories themselves are low quality and just violent for no reason... it's not something you would want to watch again and again.

Also this season is the introduction of a 45 minute episode format in place of the usual 22 minute format. This would only last for one season as it was deemed to not be a success.
