Review

The extended version of the second story of the season includes low quality edits to the originally transmitted story providing two over 50 minute long extended episodes instead of the orginally transmitted 45 minute episodes. The story actually benefits from the inclusion of the extra material as it fleshes out the characters motivations better and makes Varos a more complete world at the same time as you get to know more of its backstory.

You can tell when the extended material appears as the picture quality dips and the time coding information is covered over by a transparent bar. It's subtle but useful.

My recommendation is to watch the extended version so the rating for this story gets one exta badge.
