Season Review
After some great seasons, Season 16 is quite underwhelming. The Key To Time is the the first time that there's a season arc, although in previous years stories have overlapped with each other to create almost one long adventure.
Once each segment of The Key To Time has been retrieved, the rest of the storiy seems to be a bit redundant. This is also the season where Douglas Adams' mark starts to become present on Who. There are also some typical story tropes in this season too which are quite boring as well.
This season introduces Romana played by Mary Tamm whio only was a companion for one season.
It's not a bad season but it's not great either and after six stories, the resolution is rather a let down. Like the season itself.
This season relies on streaming for review purposes as currently there is no available The Collection box set.
