The last story of the season is a six parter which should really have been a four parter. There are a lot of ideas thrown at the story, almost too many, or at best confusing ideas that stretch credibility. The idea of a person as the last part of the key is a good one, but it's not sufficiently explored. The story also - finally - has the Shadow as the lacky of the Black Guardian. The first time in six serials! Wow...

The finale with the reveal of the White Guardian being the Black is rushed. Also what happened with the premise from first serial? Did the Key stabilise the universe? How? The Doctor just redistributes the Key after the Black Guardian reveal! After six episodes of padded story telling everything at the end is shoe-horned in to the last few minutes - Urgh...
