We kick off the season with the Doctor meeting the White Guardian and getting his instructions to find the elements of the Key to Time. The universe is in ganger and there are perils ahead, especially if the Black Guardian, or his associates, intervenes. Keep an eye out for this because it never really happens in any of the stories, except perhaps in The Armageddon Factor. Ho Hum...

We also get the introduction of Romana I played by Mary Tamm, who is actually very good and a refreshing change in the type of companion that the Doctor gets!

Then we have the story which is really dull. Set on a planet in their medieval times with off worlders masquerading as merchants. Yes, been there before with Who. It's a reasonable watch but it just plods to its inevitable conclusion...
