Season Review
Season Nine is Jon Pertwee's third season as the Doctor. Returning are Jo Grant and UNIT and of course, the Master! Overall it's a bit of an uneven season. We get the introduction of Peladon and also the Sea Devils, but the stories this season lack energy and the end of the season is the damp squib of The Time Monster, alas Roger Delgado's last time in Who before his untimely death.
The Collection Review
The Collection Box Set Releases: Season 9 is the thirteenth boxset to be released, marking the halfway point in the release of all 26 seasons of classic Who.
The boxset contains 8 disks with 5 serials. Two disks are devoted to 'Day of The Daleks', 'The Sea Devils' and 'The Time Monster'
The cover of the boxset has Jon Pertwee in his red jacket holding a sonic screwdriver. I'm not a fan of picture of Jon this season or the box art color scheme. Again, it feels like it's trying too hard.
Inner Booklet Cover Holder: From The Mutants.
Booklet Cover: From Day of The Daleks.
Console Room: From The Time Monster. It's the only time we see this Tardis console Room layout as it was not popular.
Blu-ray Disk Narration: Katy Manning.
