Review

Colony in Space is a six part story that often is seen as the low point of the season. Like many of the six part stories of the original era, it feels like it's two episodes too long. Generally the story is sound, but you can clearly see at times that it's not as futuristic as it's meant to be. You'll see people using paper and a teletype typewriter all look horribly outdated. The Master even has filing cabinets in his Tardis! During one of the shootouts as well, someone inadvertently falls against the background backdrop making the whole background wobble.

The story has a good heart and a few nice plot twists. Jon, Katy and Roger do a good job and the supporting cast is convincing too.
