Review

The first story of the season marks the Tom Baker's debut as the fourth Doctor. The previous season's cast is also again in play giving viewers continuity between old and new Doctors.

This is a solid story that has some great moments. Tom immediately embodies the role, and it's great to see Sarah-Jane being called out as sexist. Wonderful! With this new season, the production team changed from the previous season, so this story is actually an overhang from Jon Pertwee's era. the tone of the season will change with the next story though...

Robot also introduces Harry Sullivan (Ian Marter) as a new companion. Marter appeared earlier on Who in Carnival of Monsters.
