Review

The first story of Doctor Who! We start with a great first episode, 'An Unearthly Child' with both the Doctor and Susan being both enigmatic and other-worldly. Barbara and Ian get caught up in the alien's world and whisked off to another time!

Then the remaining three episodes set the tone for the rest of Doctor Who with lots of chases and the crew getting imprisioned! The story is alright, and is sound enough. From the second episode onwards Susan and Barbara act like sterotypes of women at the time unfortunately. The Doctor comes across as quite a horrible person which is actually refreshing in hindsight.

Not a bad start to a 26 year original run!
